I’m originally from Nova Scotia and prior to working with animals, I worked in television news and media. After living in Japan and Ireland, when I moved to Toronto, I adopted my dog Elliott and caring for him sparked my interest in working with animals. I graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in 2015 and have been working as a Registered Veterinary Technician ever since. Sadly, Elliott has passed on, however I attribute my passion for senior and palliative pet care to him. Senior and palliative pets deserve special attention and care in their final years and I believe that just because they’ve slowed down, doesn’t mean they can’t live their lives to the fullest. I enjoy assisting owners with their elderly pets. Being able to help owners give their life-long furry friend a comfortable end of life is incredibly rewarding, which is why they hold a special place in my heart.

In my spare time, I love hiking with my husband James and our senior rescue dog Emma. We also have two cats named Oreo and Monkey. I enjoy reading the classics, bike riding and gardening.
