Toxic Plants

Some plants are also toxic to pets. Symptoms can range from mild gastrointestinal upset including vomiting and diarrhea to organ failure and even death. The ASPCA website has a good page to help you determine if your plants (inside and out) could be toxic to your pet.

Although we sometimes use “human” medications in pets some can be toxic and others are used at very different doses and so it is important to always check with your veterinarian before giving ANY medications to your pet.
